Hydrosaurus amboinensis

Hello, I just got my first Hydrosaurus last Thursday. I have been looking for one for awhile and luckily typherp from faunaclassifieds had one Indonesian Giant left. Yay I would have gotten a Philippine Sailfin but unfortunately they are past my price range. This little guy is beautiful though. He will be very impressive when he's full size.
He hasn't really eaten much yet, but I'm not too worried since it appears he was well fed before being shipped. He has been spending most of his time bathing in the water dish also.
If I feed him fish, would it matter if it was freshwater or saltwater, cooked or raw? If I give him turkey, chicken, or eggs it is all going to be cooked.
