Do huntsman (Heteropoda venatoria) males have a shorter lifespan than that of females? I love the pattern on male huntsmen, but a shorter lifespan may be a factor in what I choose to keep.

PS: While I'm at it, Tailless WhipScorpion (Damon diadema) males and females have no lifespan difference, right?

males definitly have a shorter lifespan, too bad because the males are alot more attractive,as for thew whips i don't think so,males/females are quite longlived.

That is too bad. Do the males live for a couple years, or are they more seasonal?

i know females can live about 2-4 yrs from baby-adult,i'm sure males when matured live 1yr or less.

Oh well. Thanks for you help. I can't wait to get my hands on one of those tailless whipscorpions though. I've had my eye on them for a long time.
