Hi! I got a baby Olios simoni a few weeks ago
I keep it in a jar but I know how to make its enclosure
I give him extra small crickets and flies (the spider is about 1 centimeter legspan) how big should it be?
Huntsmans prefer arboreal enclosures so a container or vial that's tall should be fine. Make sure to put a piece of cork bark or drift wood vertically as well. They molt by hanging upside down so the wood should help. Since yours is 1 cm a small vial should be enough (picture for reference)
As it grows just rehouse it in taller enclosures with more bark/wood.
Oh one of the most Beautiful specimens! Thomas is right keep it in something small while it’s small so you can keep a better eye on and it’s food intake. Update us with pictures as it grows!!
