yo so I bought this heteropoda javana sling like 2 months ago and it seems like it’s around second instar. Should I be worried that the little guy has gone 2 months without molting?

What are you feeding it, how big of an enclosure is it in, and how often do you feed it?

I feed it either one sizable prekilled cricket a week or two or three pinheads. It’s in a three-ish inch wide container with a thin layer of coconut fiber and bark to hide. Its abdomen looks pretty fat, but I wanted to ask anyway

Besides the fat abdomen, do you see it actually eating? I’ve found prekilled prey to be very hit or miss with them.

There’s no need to worry if it is fat. It may be getting ready to molt.

Yeah I’ve seen it munching on it. I guess I’m just paranoid, thanks for the response
