What is the best way to test for humidity ? Have heard a lot about the cheaper stick on hygrometers being variable...

you can go buy a hygrometer from a pet store or online. a digital one works fairly well. Its not really needed. if you need humidity add water to the sub. if not then just have a full water dish. Common scense works best.
