iv seen caresheets saying for example a g.rosea needs 75% humidity. and another one that is a.genic needs 75-85%. i dont use a device that checks humidity (bcos some pple say its not that accurate). so how wet will it be? for example the 75%? compared to an 85%?

Hi!

I think it's so much. Rosea likes 50%. I don't water the substrate, just her dish (she drinks from her cover).

Don't bother humidity with roseas. It's a species that is used to a dry environment so you shouldn't moisten the substrate at all. Just give it a water dish.

Caresheets are mostly wrong about most stuff, there is no real point with reading them other than trying to get a laugh.

Give her a water dish and she'll be fine.

For species that like it dry, keep the substrate dry and just provide a water dish. For those that like higher humidity, in addition to the water dish, keep the substrate moist by either misting, or overfilling the dish.
