How to id mastigoproctus sp.

I have 3 vinegaroons and they all came as mastigoprodctus giganteus. However, after the revisions, I doubt that they are all giganteus. I bought 2 as a breeding pair(in which they turned out to both be subadults) and one at my lfs. Boh places couldn’t provide me with any info on collection sources so that wasn’t helpful. I do notice that one of the males has some reddish tints in his carapace and abdomen; does this mean anything?

Sorry I meant that the species giganteus was divided into a number of different species.

as you knew that, you can have a look in it and answer the question yourself

Your best option would indeed be to get a hold of the revision and work with that. Without locality data though any Id you arrive at is going to be best guess.
