How often should I feed my zygiella x-notata

Hi,
I just got a zygiella x-notata spider 2 weeks ago. I have been keeping reptiles for a long time but this is my first long term arachnid. I was wondering how often I should feed the spider until now I have been feeding it every 4 days or when I notice it’s abdomen seems shrunk.
Just wanted the opinion from long time keepers.

Just feed when the abdomen shrinks. It just depends on your spider how much energy it has so it might need food more often than others.

Where did you get the spider

I found it in my backyard
I had been doing a lot of research about the species for months because there is a ton of zygiella x-notata spiders in my backyard and one day I set up an enclosure and collected one

cool. There are some where I live. I find some once in a while. Never thought of keeping one.

They’re pretty friendly and they don’t require a very big enclosure
