The Grammostola's are renowned weight lifters, being how stocky they are. I've read about an unwanted Rosea being fed to a bigger T of another species, which ended up turning the dining plate around.
As for Avics, because of their arboreal nature, they are comparatively light even as full grown adults. You shouldn't have to worrying about them pushing the lids etc.
