Can they retain sperm until the next molt? I paired my female Kochiana brunnipes a little over 2 months ago and haven’t gotten a sac yet. She hasn’t molted since then. Is there any way to change the conditions to encourage her to build a sac? I’m pretty sure my male was able to get some insertion so I assume attempting to pair them again is not worth the risk.

As far as I am aware, most species can retain sperm until their next molt. But honestly, I'm no expert on breeding. Maybe someone more experienced can chime in.

You have all the time in the world until they molt for them to make a sac. As for how long until they make the sac, it's entirely up to how long it is needed for them to do so. Wish you luck.

It usually takes about two or three months for an egg sac to form. Just wait another month or so, as long as you are still feeding her, you could have one then. And Vanessa is correct. Females can store sperm until their next molt when they shed the sperm with the exoskeleton. Mating within 4-6 months after a female's molt to pair them is ideal for a successful egg sac.

Sperm is still viable stored inside the female for many months. 2 months is far too soon to already be expecting an eggsac. It takes a while for the female to start producing eggs inside her. If you saw a good insertion, just wait. Dampen her substrate and make sure she has room and depth to burrow.
