I have a curly hair T(T albopilosom) that is a female, I would like to breed. But I dont know how to tell if she is ready for that. I have not found very good information on the subject. Please give advise. Sorry if this post was already been done by someone else.

The term "subadult" is generally reserved for males that are approaching adult size but have not yet had their maturing moult.

Females generally mature at around 2/3 - 3/4 of max size but you should wait for a moult and check the exuvia to see if the spermathecae are sclerotised to confirm.

you can tell is a female is mature by looking at a molt and examining its spermatheca.....when mature, they will be sclerotized (darkened).

I usually just go with color. Adults have a very distinctive pattern depending on the species
