How can I tell when a MM has spun a sperm web?

I have a mature male brachypelma albopilosum, after he hardened, he tore up the molt mat and I removed it, freshened his habitat and I've left him alone since. It's been about a week since then, and he built this web that I think is a sperm web. I'm a beginner and it's very exciting for me to find out if patience is paying off :p

That sure does look lile a sperm web.

If you removed the webbing and that appeared, it more than likely is one.

How do I know when he is finished with it?
Based on my observations of my MM Aphonopelma chalcodes, if you see the web and he is not currently working on it or climbing under it, than he's already set and ready to go. ;)

So he's locked and loaded -- do you have a female -- are you planning to breed him?
If not -- you may want to offer him in a breeding loan or something. He would agree with me. ;)

I've got a female for him and she is also mature, both molted back in August and I plan on pairing them fairly soon, when she has a little more weight
