I've seen a similar post like this already but it was from like 2005 so perhaps things have changed.
I'm just wondering what you arachnoboard frequenters do with them. Me I normally just cup them then release them outside, the last time I actually put one in my old off road car cause I thought that would be the next best thing from my house.
Being one who is sympathetic to our 8 legged friends though I feel sad for the lil guy cause it obviously comes in because its too cold outside here in England.
All in all I don't mind them it's just no matter where I see them in the house they always seem to find their way into my bedroom and darting towards me because I sit on the floor alot.
I do sometimes wonder what it would be like to catch one, stick it in a tub and feed it until its huuge! They can actually get surprisingly big if the prey is plentiful.

Some in our house are relocated to the large unused junk cubby we have if they are injured or thin my son and I house them till they are better then released in our cubby or outside depending on the sp and where it belongs . Of course some are kept because I get attached to them or have had them so long and they are thriving with me .
Eg I have a cellar spider I took off my cat that had an egg sack we housed her took care of her till her baby's watched them hatch she had 21, watched the baby's do their first mass moult fed them ff and then opened the enclosure in the cubby for them to leave of their own accord. Mum stayed, she stayed even though her enclosure was left open for days , we kept her in the end she is called Gia and is still in that enclosure on my t bench had her 8/9 months now 😊 you'd be surprised how fun our uk spiders can be 😁 Tegeneria are my favourite though fast pretty and extremely food aggressive web like crazy too. You should try housing one you'll be hooked in no time 😆

I leave mine where they are unless it's a bad location, like in the shower. Then they get shifted a few feet to a better spot.

I cup and catch them then either release them in the garden or, if it's too cold, the garden shed.
