G. Rosea, B. Smithi, Pokie, PZB, Versi. Experienced enough.
There are a few species that stridulate, however these are advanced species, much more advanced than you have experience of, I can only give my point of view, but I would wait until you've got some more experience with fast, defensive species, before entering into the unknown, none of the species you have will have given you enough experience to acquire any stridulating sp. Just my two pennies worth, try getting a fast arboreal first, or an OW terrestrial sp. that is not so defensive, I'm thinking of your safety here pal, if you do decide to get a stridulating sp. be very careful. T. blondi stridulate as do, T. stirmi and T. apophysis, to my knowledge.

Any Theraphosa sp. They stridulate when doing practically anything.

The ones that do hiss only do so when they are in distress so it's not the kind of thing (hopefully) you're going to see all the time. Your best hiss for the buck is from Madagascar! :D

Really expensive too. I haven't heard mine ever stridulate yet either
That's odd, mine sounds like a maraca with 8 legs lol. How big is yours? Stirmi aren't too expensive if you wait for the right deal, picked my big girl up at repticon for $60.

Many species can stridulate, more so then most realize, either way you probably won't ever see it happen.

They do this when they are cornered and about to bite, it's not common behavior unless you go looking for it. I have the species you mentioned earlier and none have ever hissed at me...

Why target a species solely based on its capacity to stridulate? There are other more important factors to consider.

About 6". Canada prices mind you. Got mine at the right time for 75 bucks. (1.5") they're now 135 for the same size.

I thought maybe size would effect how often they stridulate, but mine was the same size before a recent molt. She can be pretty nasty though so maybe that's why she does it so often.

I'll make sure my next post quotes that I am not a beginner
Being a beginner or not isn't really the issue. The issue is the T and the potential for harm to the keeper. I've been driving since I was 11. I've driven cars, 18 wheelers, front end loaders, etc, but I probably couldn't jump into a tank and drive around in it. It's not that I'm not an experienced driver, I just have no experience with tanks. You may have experience with the species you mentioned but folks around here are understandably concerned when people ask questions like this. Not just for your own safety but that of the animals as well.

You're asking about certain species so it would appear that you aren't sufficiently experienced with them to answer your own question. That's why people are looking out for you and trying to help you become more informed. Don't take it personally. People are just trying to help

I have T.stirmi, T.apophysis, P.murinus, and the P.muticus, in my 9 years of keeping I have honestly never seen mine stridulate ever. The way I look at it you have made a serious mistake if your hearing and seeing that. But I imagine at some point I will see it for myself though.
