One of my female hissers has a stuck ootheca and has been this way for over 24 hours. Only 3 segments are sticking out but when I checked on her yesterday they were already shriveled and brown. Her back end has closed up on them and is collecting dirt ..im starting to worry. What should I do and what is going on?

I've never had a problem with my females that have aborted ootheca sticking out. Eventually she will pass it.

I don't recall any having issues passing them either...

But you might want to up the humidity in your enclosure...

How did it turn out? Did she pass it? Did you try altering humidity?

I did not alter the humidity.. The section that was stuck fell off and the rest is still in her as far as i know. I am also wondering.. I have 8 adult female and have seen quite a few oothecas moved to the brrod chamber but I have had them for 2 months now and no babies.. so do I need higher humidity or are they all just not ready to give birth?
