So I was doing some tank cleaning this morning and noticed that my cork bark in my scorpions tank was beginning to mold, can I boil the cork to get rid of it or should I just shell out and buy some plastic rock/wood hides?

Probably just scrub it off and let it dry in the sun for awhile.

Many people are using isopods to eat/ clean up fungi. Also microwaving the cork will probably kill any life on it.

I wouldn't boil it. Simply run it under hot tap water and use a stiff brush to scrub it off. I reuse cork all the time, but haven't had mold growth.
I've used springtails in the past, do a great job cleaning, but without adequate food die off. Haven't used isopods, more people suggest using them though.
