you mentioned some species of poecilotheria females have some sort of "lips" that are easily identifiable... around what size do they become apparent, and do you have any more pics of this?(i assumed you meant the area around the forward book lungs, but i could be wrong).

The whitish lip usually becomes evident around the 4" mark. Certain species within the genus show this earlier, especially P. formosa. Of course, they still can be sexed by looking on the inside of a skin. Here's a pic of a P. formosa. The white slit (sorry, again lack of a better word) is very clear.

Hmm, Poecilotheria fasciata has a distinctive lip as well, at least mine does ;p
