Success!

Females last molt 4-10-12
Male matured 5-16-12

Temp 80F
Hum 50%

Not really a whole lot to report, but here it is.

Attempt date 6-5-12

1. Placed male in with female. Female immediately began drumming. Male searched for her and when they met up, they paired fast with a few good insertions. Male parted, and i left him to cohab with the female.

2. 6-13-12 Male was found eaten.

3. 7-30-12 Female began building a nice web hammock, which actually had a sac in it. I had my doubts that there was a sac there, but i was wrong.

4. 9-26-12 Found slings crawling out of web hammock. Removed female and gathered up slings.

There was 65 good 2nd instar, and a few first instar. The first instar didnt make it.

The pairing

The one that caught my eye

Size reference

The mother after placing her back into her home

She now looks like she is going to double clutch. She is nice and plump, but im still waiting.

Successful
AF molted 10/2/13
I purchased a mm and waited until I witnessed a sperm web.
Paired them on 7/3/13.male lasted two nights before he became a meal.
After pairing I kept my AF on bottom shelf at around 70/72'f and fed her normally.after about 6/7weeks her tank was put in top shelf and she was fed more heavily.and substrata wetted.
Dropped eggsack 5/5/13
Pulled eggsack 4/6/13 all N2,s
Molted to slings 24/6/13
Total 284
