Heteropoda venatoria eggsac

Hi,

My female H venatoria has made an eggsac, cocoon(or how you guys call it). Do some one have some advice how to hatch it? should i take away from here leave it her what would you recomend?

don't worry it will hatch on it's own the mother holds it all the time until it hatches,then there will be many little spiderlings.:clap:

she'll care for it until it hatches, then she'll wait for the babies to disperse and when she drops the sac she'll be ready for a good meal. Be prepared for 200+ babies from the first sac and slightly less in later sacs. It takes about 5 weeks from the time she lays the sac to the time it hatches and a few more days for the babies to disperse. If you overfeed the babies, you can keep them in small groups through the first couple molts with minimal cannibalism.

Yay! My H. venatoria just made a sac too!!!

I know that it is at least her second one. I purchased her with some of her slings.
