So, my H. petersii just had scorplings. At first, I thought I just overfed her but as she started to refuse food I thought she was about to moult, or gravid. Obviously, it was the latter.
She is currently hiding under some cork bark and I don't want to disturb her, since it may stress her out. Don't want her to eat the scorplings, but I would like to check to know if she already started doing that, I should probably just wait.
I already ordered deli cups and earth to get them out of the tank once they are in 2nd instar. Is there anything else I need to know besides feeding them small enough prey items?
Also:
- Should I try to introduce a cricket to the mother to make sure she doesn't decide to eat the scorplings for nutrition?
-How long does it usually take until the scorplings begin to moult into the 2nd instar?
