Always cool. How big was he before? and how long since the last molt?

Just trying to gauge growth rate because I have one that's probably around 5 inches and I have no idea what to expect.

Share some more pics when its done.

He was about 6" and he hasn't molted since I bought him...he stopped eating almost a month ago and his abdomen was a bit misshapen so I knew it was coming. I'm going to try to get pics as it happens...in stages, I guess...but I might fall asleep. He's looking like it's going to be a very slow process.

Nice, your boy is going to be as big as my female :) Maybe leggier?

No matter how many times I see it, it always makes my worry. I always have to keep an eye on them.

Keep us posted.

He's out! Check out this killer pic...

For some reason this link is being cut off near the end so it doesn't work to click on it. Cut and Paste it to your address bar and it'll work fine. Sorry.

So he didn't mature right?
John Hoke was telling me about how he had a 4.5" and a 9" mature male at the same time. I'm always worried that my male is going to mature when he molts and be a little runt of a male.

Congrats on the successful molt ;)

Is walter a male for sure? The H shaped rather than A shaped patterns above it's epigiastic (sp?) furrow would make me think it's a female? But then again, I tried the pictures on Rick West's site, and had a low accuracy.....

Can anyone here sex from underside pix, and/or am I just on crack?

Looks nothing like my male Damon. I think you may have a female there! :D

Man, I hope you guys are right. This is what I'm basing the "male" theory on:
Let me know what you think of this.

BTW...
As some guys do, I added some inches where there were none.
;)
NOW Walter is a healthy 6 inches. :D

I'M NOT BEING PICKY, I just love Walter! It's spelled Matthau. I know old people can be cranky, but I'm not, I'm just a big fan of the old guy!!!

Thanks for the correction!
Do you think it's a female too?

I'm rotten at sexing. Unless they have hooks and boxing gloves, I can never seem to tell! But I'm LEARNING!!!!!

But... I don't see a flap, so if I had to guess, I'd say bouncing baby boy.

Yeah, I'm not seeing a leaf portrusion either unless it's crumpled up in there. Happened with my PZB.

Jim, does that mean I'm getting better at sexing? (NEED ENCOURAGEMENT... THOUGHT I WAS HOPELESS!):(
