I have this spider that I caught yesterday. Usually I see a spider and I run screaming  , but this time I just looked at her and then caught her with a jar and a letter. I am unable to post a picture at the moment my camera is broke. The abdoman is large on the spider and is encumbering to the spider I think. Does this mean the spider is a female and may lay an egg sac? I'm not sure what type 'she' is. I'm pretty sure it's a she anyway. All there is around the house that she could have fed on is roaches. Now I am running low on them since before I caught her I laid out poison to kill the roaches. What should I try to feed her?
I am keeping her in a small jar at the moment, but I am going to put her into a fish tank or something like that when I can get one.

There is also one brown recluse in my house. I want to catch it also. Is there any way I could catch it and avoid its feared bite? :?

Stear clear of anything possibly contaminated with poison. You can get crickets at most pet stores that would do nicely.
