Help with ID, from Iraq- Al Anbar Province

I hope this pic turns out ok, we found these out in the desert near the Syrian Border of Iraq. Any help identifying it would be appreciated.

Kinda looks like a S maurus, but you might wanna wait to see what other people say before taking my guess into consideration

I agree with it being a S. maurus spp. They're some pretty things, aren't they?

Given that there are no Opistophthalmus sp. in that area, it must be S.maurus as the others have stated.

I agree with the others. Appears to be one badass S. maurus.

Thanks for the help all, these are the only type I have found out here and they are everywhere. I'll post others as soon as I run across them. Still waiting on my first encounter with a camel spider too, we'll see how that goes, lol.
