Hi c:

I was wondering if anyone could help me. I have a House spiderling that I found, and I'm really interested in keeping it. At the moment I've put it in a large pot, and put some grass, leaves and a stone in it temporarily to allow him to hide away. He's doing just fine in it, and has made webs from the sides which he sits on. So, my questions are;

-How can I improve his pot { Does it need soil/more plants ect.}?
-Does his pot need misting or shall I just put small drops of water on the sides?
-How can I feed him {What does he eat, he's very very small}?

And basically anything else you think I need to know. I'd really appreciate some answers <3

Thanks!

How are you keeping it in a pot? It is a planter pot, right?

What ever happened to your little house spider? It's been almost a month now, but as long as you gave him water, he's probably still fine.
I would try fungus nats (if you have any plants starting, they're common), baby sow bugs, or I used to use flour moth larvae; You've got to be real careful with those though, as they can get out of hand real easily. Hence the used to.

OH, and with little spiderlings, I prefer to mist their home/web, or leave a tiny bit of cotton (qtip size) wet with water.
