my guess was some kind of neoscona but i'm not too sure if any of you guys could help me out that would be awsome ^_^They look a lot like A cavaticus but have a big orange splotch on the underside of their abdomens and off-white cephalothoraxes. I think the legs are thinner than A cavaticus too. Their size varies a lot. Some are quite small but one was really big with an abdomen the size of a grape. I live in Iowa and these are really common in rural areas and I've seen some in town too. I've handled one and it didn't bite me whatever that's worth.
