Scolopendra sp. "white legs" is not a desert species, it's a grassland one. Anyway, the substrate mixes described above are all universally useable regardless of habitat - just add more or less moisture depending on the animal's native climate. For yours, I'd have the substrate mostly dry, with a water dish and a moist end.
