Help me ID this centipede. It was found in mexico. Temperate region. Not anywhere close to the sonoran desert.

my best guess would be scolopendra heros color morph very beautiful how big is it and where did you find it .

I don't think so... Mexico is the country with more variability centipede spp. in the world. We now that S. heros is desertic-semidesertic inhabitant...so it is not probable this sp. will be a S. heros.

Just my opiion based in climate and distribution of spp. Not sure about that specie.
