Hi there, I am new to jumping spiders and currently have 4. I recently got my first juvenile regal, and she used to be a very good eater/very active until about two weeks ago. I was feeing her every other day, sometimes as often as once a day. Now she stays in her thick web and when I offer food, she comes out to attack it but never eats like she has in the past. Almost like she is trying to kill it to protect herself? Can anyone explain what she is doing and if its ok for her to go longer than two weeks without food?
I thought about coaxing her out by a paintbrush into a small cup and feeding her there and putting her back. I do not think she is molting but I am new to this
I also have a juvenile bold jumper and an adult tan who are doing the same - both in their thick webs and not eating.
Thank you for any advice!!
