Hello. I’m new to the arachnoboards and looking for help identifying a tiny brown spider. I found her on a step indoors and she was very hard to see. I’ve never seen such a tiny spider. I felt compelled to rescue her. It’s been about two months and she’s doing quite well. I have her in a small spider enclosure and she’s had one molt. She has a typical spider shape and is brown in color. She has grown quite a bit. When I found her she was near two empty egg sacs that had probably been bitten open by the mother. There were no other spiders around. Btw, her name is Charlotte. I’ll try to post a photo of her. Thanks!

Hard to say from those pics. Can you get a better one? I’m thinking Lactrodectus geometricus

Where (geographically speaking) did you find it? That'll help narrow it down some, too.
