A patternless tiger centipede?! I’ve never heard of those. Are they rare?!This looks to be a patternless tiger centipede, about full grown if I’m right.
Ahh that’s disappointing, I was really hoping for a hero’s. Thanks! Not really, they are rather common in scrublands under various objects. They are rather common but are really small, the biggest one I have seen was about 4 inches.
Look at the terminals, way to thick to be a heros.I think that is a hero’s. I think it’s a baby. I might be wrong though
Agreed.Arthrorhabdus pygmaeus
Fairly common species out in West TX
Is it because of the black line running through its body, it’s not a patternless polymorpha? Or the longer body?Arthrorhabdus pygmaeus

Both, plus the shape of terminal legs and overall appearance. Is it because of the black line running through its body, it’s not a patternless polymorpha? Or the longer body?
Makes sense, do you know how big they get? Both, plus the shape of terminal legs and overall appearance.
