help ID?

hi im from Australia and i was just wondering if anyone could give me an idea of what theis scorpion is, it was given as a gift for my birthday.
i was told that it is called a "southern blue knight"

That'd be a Urodacus sp. Will have to wait till Mark Newton gets on to get a species ID.

You have Urodacus manicatus, a mesic species, quite easy to keep.
