I lost my old girl, Ebony a few weeks ago after she laid a sac. It was successful!! Only 4 babies that I can see. I will send pics. Pls help me figure out how to care for them. I have a few deli cups and some fruit flies hatching soon.
But here are my questions:
1 - when do I separate them?
2 - what to do about humidity? When to add humidity?
3 - any advice on fruit flies or feeders for them? When to start feeding them?

Feel free to be generous with your knowledge, this is my first egg sac. :D Sorry the pic is kinda hard to see, but there are definitely 4 babies; 3 that have emerged from the sac. IMG_20220513_143403804_2.jpg Thank you so much in advance!

Separate them once they leave the sack completely on their own, humidity should just be normal humidity. Drosophila melanogaster is good for slings.

Ok so I moved the entire nest into a small container since I wanted to keep a closer eye on them. It has a slightly damp paper towel, and I taped the vent holes so they cant get out.
Should I poke teeny holes in the tape or leave it until I separate them?
Sorry I'm super paranoid but I wanna try my best lol

Yes, but I put the tape on the inside of the enclosure, facing out, so the smooth side is towards them. If that makes sense
