Heating

So in the winter my room gets to be about 55-60 degrees and was wondering if I made heat heat box with using like a 40 gallon tank and putting heat tape on the sides with styrofoam insulation would it be able to heat inside that tank 10-15 degrees to get to 70f or would it only be heating it like a few degrees? Thank you!
