Heat mat on plastic bin?

I was wondering if a 13 watt heat mat would be ok on the outside of a 50qt Sterilite tub?

I have been using 12watt 11" x 11" mats on my 66qt roach bins for over 2 years now with no problems.

Yeah should work just fine, i use the same thing to heat my roaches in plastic bins.

Yeah I have a heat mat on my b smithi's kritter keeper cuz it get 62 degrees in my housr and he does just great!

I have a heat matt (unsure of the wattage and such) under my big plastic roach container. My house hasn't burnt down yet so I'm guessing mine is ok...
