That's because that isn't the scientific name of the T. Whom ever made that name up was very creative. I'll have a try too: Brazillian Striped Knickerbocker Giant Birdeater ;)

Ergo: You need to find out the scientific name of that T so that you'll have luck finding any info on it. Shops, sometimes smalltime breeders, often T-hunters, will make up names to make the T sound fancy and because they have no idea what that T actually is. :)

Stichoplastoris longistylus, El Salvador Fawn Birdeater. I also didn't come up with much on care of the species but someone should know.

Here's a female Stichoplastoris longistylus (El Salvador Fawn Birdeater) owned by a fellow board member.



Leanne I hope you don't mind me posting a picture of it but it's the best one I could find. There's another picture on e-spiderworld.com but the flash gives it a blue tint.
