Hey, everyone. Pretty much what the title says. My hapalopus sp. columbia has been in its webbed up leaf hut burrow for weeks now. Is this normal? I have left wax worms on the substrate and they seem to disappear when I come back to check on them but I am not sure if this is normal? I think I read somewhere that this happens with this species but can't seem to find that thread. Anyway, thanks so much!

I’ve owned quite a few and never had this.

As long as it’s eating you’re fine.

Did you leave the worm prekilled or alive? My h sp columbia gross is just out of its seclusion donning new suit. It was a 3 weeks vacation. Just keep water dish full and leave feeder prekilled.

Mine did exactly this its last molt cycle.
Left food, found food eaten, never saw the T.

It came out last week and has been roaming around ever since.

This is in no way based in science but...

I was feeding it mealworms - quite a big meal for the size of these guys.
Idk maybe just too fat and lazy to leave burrow? ahaha

Been feeding crickets since then and I catch it outside all the time now
