Well, congrats! You better learn to wait, because these things grow very very slowly. You might have to wait a few years even, depending on how it's set up ofcourse.
congrats but dont give it those crystal just mist it once or twice a week on the sides of the container also put more substrate in there we dont want anything bad to happen and welcome to the hobby that drains your bank acount.
She was a little darker then usual , but I tought that it had something to do with my lamp , because I had to replace it with a weaker one .
I´ve made a picture of the first molt she had in her new home ( 4 weeks after I Bought her )
are those "crystal" things the cricket feeder- jellylike thing?..
i'm wondering if u could use them for spiderlings which i find useful if it's not bad for them.
nice little chile rose you got there! i'm still waiting for mine to molt again, last molt was in late august! btw these are desert species and prefer things pretty dry with just the odd spray now and then or a corner of the tank wetted. never use a wet sponge as they attract bacteria and mold. (the shop where i bought mine from wrongly told me to use one!)
My T first molt ( since I bought her ) was half way august .
I also spray to keep the air humidity , and she also drinks the drops on the side of the tank .
But sometimes she likes the gel ( crystals ) more .
I won´t use it anymore for the T untill I´m sure it´s ok .
But still I find it odd , the text on the container says it´s allright to use it for T´s .
I´ve included a picture of the container .
I´m sorry it´s only in Dutch .
Vogel means bird and spinnen means spiders ·
when i translate the text it says : Cricket gel is also suitable to give water to your birdspider .
nd Thnx for the compliments , I´m Really proud my first T does it so well .
I think having true spiders ( 3Tegeneria´s and 4 Jumping spiders ) helped me alot .
They really like the gel to get water .
