Hello friends! I need your opinions please.
I am running Infrared bulb for my Hadrurus Arizonensis, and at that corner under the bulb the thermometer reads 99 F. Is it too hot?
Thanks

An annual temperature change is more natural. I don't offer any heating for mine during the winter. What's the cool side gradient? 70F? Do you have sufficient depth for burrowing throughout? Where these guys live gets really hot under the sun and really cold under the stars. They thermoregulate by burrowing down. I've been contemplating burying a data logger out in the desert 12-18 inches below the surface to see what the real temps are. One of my many projects I hope to do someday.

What is the temps are the other end of terrarium? Do you have a thermostat?

Can you post up a pic of the enclosure?

They live underground in the wild. They are never actually exposed to temperatures like that if they can help it.
