Ok, i`m novice with spiders and scorpions, so i need advices. I have now one spider, but i`m thinked to take anotherone. But today, i think that scorpion would be nice also. So i read information of H.arizonensis and i have to ask, how big terrarium it would need? If someone has this scorpion, it would be nice if can tell more? I have heard also, that this is good species for novice.

5 gallon is plenty with at least 5 inches of dry 'hardened' sand so it can burrow

theyre a favorite of mine, usually always active or interesting, grow to be hugeee, and live for, not my words, 15-25 years if healthy and taken care of well.

they do well in 50% humidity and temps from 70-80 (warm), a waterdish, a big terrarium (normal than usual), mostly to dig, which is a big point. Excavator clay mixed with baked playsand works great. I'd do a search on a good setup. They're very great pets.

it could work, if the top is a screen lid like mine.

some sellers sell them from the cali/arizona area. search the For Sale section.
