Alright Im getting 2 new tanks

A 40 gallon tank for my Eastern african spiny tailed lizards (Cordylus tropidosternum) theres 5 know after they mated. And possibly breed them.
The armadillo lizards love a wood land habitat mosit and humid.

Im getting a 30 gal for my tiger salamanders (Ambystoma mavortium) because im going to try to breed them successfully.
My tiger salamander cage I was thinknig of tilting the tank so it will be half land half water also have plastic plants everywhere. When they lay the eggs ill be taking them out and placing them in a 5 gallon tank. For food would frozen blood worms be okay? what other things would be good for food?

Following this thread I would love your opinions and your ideas for habitats for these species I will be open minded for them. Thank you for your time.:D

-Exotic,
Instead of tilting the aquarium, try this: Measure and cut a piece of plexiglass or other similar stuff and silicone glue it in place so that it's a little higher than what your water depth is going to be. Be sure it's water tight and fill one half with water and the other half with whatever substrate you were planning on using for the land half. Provide something for them to use to climb out of the water and onto the land. I'm not sure on what exactly is the best stuff to use, plexiglass or acrylic, because they can be tricky to cut. I would think you could measure your tank and then get someone like Lowe's or Home Depot to cut a piece for you. As for silicone glue, be sure that it can be used in an aquarium. Some kinds give off toxic fumes, or so I am told.
