H.spinifer male?

    Tentatively yes as the pectines look rather large but if you can get a better pic of the genital opperculum it would easy to sex it.

    I still can't get a clear look at genital opperculum but sexing Asian Forest Scorpions (Heterometrus ssp) and likewise Emperors (Pandinus ssp) is very simple and easy. The males have larger pectines and oval shaped genital opperculum while females have a forked heart shaped genital opperculum. I am 99.9% sure you have a male but the genital opperculum is abit obscured by condensation.
