Great choice, Ephebopus sp. are amazing and mine enjoy to stay at the open at night. Too bad that they don't have "size".
Same with my girl. Lately she's out from when the light really fades up to like 5am in the morning. Pretty cute...despite the fact she's a pig and rivals my geni in terms of hungry! :D

i just transferred the H.vonwirthi a few minutes ago...glad thats over lol, i put her in her new set up in which now she has 8-9'' of substrate to excavate her burrow
hopefully she will be a lot happier in that set up...the old substrate was what looked like topsoil and the reason i decide to ultimately change it was i started to see root aphids crawling around on the surface...not that i think they could harm the T but you never know...so i have her now in a 30qt sterrilite bin with eco-earth as her substrate

You did the right thing, man. And good inches of substrate.. now, sooner your T will start to burrow. Took almost 18 days to my AF Megaphobema robustum - when i re-housed her thanks to previous owner bad care - for start a new burrow, but now she's very very happy, under lots of substrate.
