i've acquired from an LPS a tarantula labeled Thai Tiger. i'm assuming this is either an H. longpipes or H. minax and i am having trouble with the difference between these two. Does anyone have any good information on the tell-tale differentiating characteristics? Thanks=) Also, in the event this T can't be properly id'd, as what should it be labeled?

Not longipes...
H. longipes would have a longer relative length of leg IV to leg I, also the scopula on the leg IV metatarsus would be more obvious and the same metatarsus would have a noticeable brush of long setae.
Not sure about minax from that pic, could be from the same group, the default would be sp. Vietnam/vonWirthi...

Thank you so much =) i did read about the leg IV to I length and the scopular difference. Not about the setae though, so that's good to know. She will be labeled as the default suggestion.:)
