Hey all, I've been keeping an asian forest scorpion for about 2-3 weeks. He is not quite an adult yet and his telsons are still white.

Anyway, my mother complained about hearing cricket-like noises but since I don't keep crickets because I feed my scorp mealworms, she insists that the noise may be from the scorp. I googled it and it said that some species are capable of stridulating but I'm not sure if mine does.

To you guys who've been keeping H. Longimanus, have you noticed such behaviour from your scorps?

Besides Heterometrus, other genus like:
Opistophthalmus, Pandinus, Scorpio, Androctonus, Parabuthus, Heteroctenus, Oiclus, Uroplectes, Brachistosternus, Timogenes also exist certain species which can stridulate.
