I noticed Tuesday night, that my femal H. Lividum was rolling a sac up the entrance to her burrow so I quickly made up a "nursery" enclosure so that I could avoid the round-up (as in our Sp. Vonwirthi). I made a sneaky (I thought....) attempt to take the sac from her, but she quickly vanished below ground. Figuring I would make another attempt yesterday, I came home from work to find a bunch of H. lividum slings hanging out under the web cover of her burrow! So much for avoiding the round-up again!
