My Cobalt Luci has dug her burrow in such a way that she's always facing with her butt up in the air.

I thought since this is a thread about Cobalt Blues, I might as well post up a pic of my Luci I took this morning. Here she is stretching her legs after crawling out of her little hole in her substrate.

What a beautiful picture! I'm still working on getting a good pic of my pretty girl/guy.

I think that is the best picture I've taken of Luci so far. And your pictures aren't too shabby either. ;) Maybe we should start a Cobalt Blue Lovers club?

So I have a question . Do cobalts look brown or blue if you look at them under NORMAL lighting.

To the untrained eye they look black. But with the right lighting the blue starts to come out. Under bright light, and I do not recommend anyone use bright lights on tarantulas since they really hate it, you can see the nice, irridescent blue on their legs.

Mine looks like a very very dark blue (think navy blue) in normal light.
