Hey guys I just got my first
Hadrurus arizonensis and was looking for some tank inspiration ideas? It’s full grown but I don’t know the sex. I just have him in a temporary enclosure at the moment.
I would be so grateful to see your setups or just hear your suggestions:)

70 / 30 mix of sand / excavator clay to permit this obligate burrowing species to create their extensive tunnels.

Should i try to form a little starter burrow or just mix the substrate and then let him go at it? And about how deep should i make the substrate?

As deep as you can. They burrow extensively.

You can give it a starter of sorts. A depression below a piece of cork bark or something. It will take it from there.
