How much of this account is authentically accurate is hard to say, but the medical terminology exists for advanced and severe Widow envenomation -- it's called latrodectism. Thankfully for the majority being bitten by a Widow result in nothing short of hospital visit or a stay for a day. But there exists the 5% unlucky ones. Don't fool around, respect these awesome predators and if you do get bit please seek immediate medical attention. Hope you enjoy!
