Found this little one at my mom's last week. Her husband was tearing down an outdoor aviary when it dropped onto his arm from some vines. The spider didn't even let go of the bee. These spiders are tough to find with their great camouflage. I've only ever found one other specimen. Interesting critters. Enjoy! :)

Paladin, your pm box is full! Drop me a line and we'll go catch some trapdoor spiders saturday morning.

The other one I found was by accident as well. I was taking a photo of one of my green tree pythons with some ferns as a back drop when I spotted it crawling around.

I'm in San Diego. The trapdoor spiders are fairly thick down here. I'll post a couple photos if we head out this weekend.
