Just got 2 pairs of these yesterday. The green ones are in the northern part of the range.

Beautiful! Green ones are very rare in the hobby, but probably not in nature. Do you think it's their diet that makes them that beautiful green color?

from what i hear diet does play a role but i have never seen green ones in the hobby, actually these were my first, i'm sure if it was a simple as changing diet there would be other colors round. Also these are only found in the northern part of their range

The picture isn't working, but I've seen a [properly licensed facility] bug zoo that suddenly got lots of green morphs in their babies. It was kinda weird, but they're really pretty.

Nope. But I looked at the source URL and navigated around your photobucket until I found it.

WOW. That's nothing like the green morphs I've seen before. The ones I saw were more like a mossy grey-green. Yours is beautiful!

Yea, up untill my mate showed me pics i had only seen the brown ones. I'm hoping this is genetic, strangely the males are brown so i'm learning towards a sex-linked mutation
